Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Passes 6 Million Sales as Steam Discount Reaches 60%
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has officially surpassed 6 million copies sold worldwide since launching on February 4, 2025, marking another major commercial milestone for Warhorse Studios and publisher Deep Silver. The medieval role playing game reached the figure across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S, continuing the strong momentum that turned Henry’s second adventure into one of the most successful European RPG releases of recent years.
Warhorse announced the achievement through the official Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 website, thanking the community that has supported the series since the first game. The milestone arrives around 4 months after the sequel crossed 5 million copies, showing that sales have continued well beyond the initial launch period and the completion of its major downloadable content roadmap.
"None of this would have been possible without the passion and support of the ever growing Kingdom Come: Deliverance community."

To celebrate, Warhorse has introduced the franchise’s largest Steam Summer Sale discounts so far. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and its Royal Edition are available at 60% off through July 9, 2026. The Royal Edition includes the base game, Expansion Pass, The Lion’s Crest, and the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit. Players who have not experienced Henry’s original journey can also purchase Kingdom Come: Deliverance or its Royal Edition at 80% off, with the Royal package including the complete collection of major story expansions.

The sales milestone follows a strong awards season for Warhorse. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 received multiple Game of the Year nominations, including recognition at The Game Awards, and won the 2026 BAFTA Games Award for Narrative. Its success was driven by the continuation of Henry’s story, its historically grounded recreation of 15th century Bohemia, expanded role playing systems, reactive quests, detailed combat, and a world designed to respond consistently to player choices.
Warhorse plans to continue celebrating throughout the summer through concerts, gaming events, and community gatherings. The studio is also moving into its next development phase with 2 major open world RPG projects. One is a new Kingdom Come adventure, although Warhorse has not formally identified it as Kingdom Come: Deliverance 3. The second is an open world RPG set in Middle earth.
Reaching 6 million sales demonstrates that there remains a substantial market for ambitious single player RPGs that prioritize narrative depth, player freedom, and a carefully constructed world instead of recurring monetization. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 did not simplify the systems that made the original distinctive. Warhorse expanded them, improved accessibility, and trusted players to engage with a demanding historical experience.
The 60% Steam discount should extend that commercial momentum by bringing the sequel to players who were interested but unwilling to pay the original launch price. It also creates a strong entry point for newcomers, since both complete games can now be purchased at their lowest recorded Steam prices.
Warhorse’s next challenge will be managing 2 large open world productions simultaneously without weakening the attention to detail that defines its games. The Kingdom Come series has grown because of its deliberate design and willingness to move at its own pace. Preserving that development culture will be essential as the studio expands into Middle earth and prepares the next chapter of its historical RPG franchise.
Does the 60% Steam discount convince you to enter medieval Bohemia, or have you already completed Henry’s journey?
