Syberia Remastered Launches This November on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Meta Quest 3

Microids has officially confirmed the release date for Syberia Remastered, a fully modernized version of Benoît Sokal’s classic adventure game. The remaster will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on November 6, 2025, followed shortly after by a VR release on Meta Quest 3 on November 13, 2025. The VR version was a surprise reveal, expanding the game’s reach to an entirely new audience and allowing fans to experience the world of Syberia in a more immersive way. You can find the VR version’s store page on Meta Quest.

Syberia Remastered has been rebuilt to take advantage of modern hardware, offering significant visual improvements. The Before/After trailer highlights enhanced textures, lighting, and environmental detail, giving longtime fans a clear view of how Microids has revitalized the 2002 original.

The remaster will also feature redesigned puzzles and quality-of-life improvements, aiming to smooth out gameplay and enhance accessibility while maintaining the original’s narrative-driven adventure.

For collectors, physical versions of the remaster will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, though only in the UK market.

The story follows Kate Walker, a New York lawyer who travels to remote regions of the French Alps with her automaton companion, Oscar, in search of eccentric inventor Hans Voralberg. Their journey evolves into a quest to uncover the myth of the last surviving mammoths on the legendary island of Syberia, blending steampunk aesthetics with a rich emotional narrative.

Fans of the franchise have been eager to see how Microids would modernize Syberia. While today’s trailer emphasizes the game’s visual overhaul, many will be watching closely to see how the puzzle redesigns and updated mechanics improve the overall flow of the adventure.

With both a traditional release and a VR adaptation on the horizon, November is shaping up to be a big month for Syberia fans, both old and new.

Will you be revisiting Syberia on PC or consoles, or are you planning to step into Kate Walker’s journey for the first time through VR on Meta Quest 3?
