NVIDIA Is Giving Away 4 Custom NBA 2K27 RTX 5090 GPUs
NVIDIA is celebrating DLSS 5 in NBA 2K27 with some unusually expensive hardware prizes, launching the NBA 2K27 DLSS 5 Poster Challenge with 4 custom GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition graphics cards available to win.
Each GPU carries custom NBA 2K27 artwork wrapped around NVIDIA's Founders Edition design and has an estimated prize value of $2,599. NVIDIA values the RTX 5090 itself at $1,999 and the custom wrap at another $600, bringing the combined value of all 4 prizes to $10,396. The themed cards are being offered specifically through the competition rather than as normal retail products.
The NBA 2K27 DLSS 5 Poster Challenge is built around the game's implementation of DLSS 5 with 3D Guided Neural Rendering. Players using a GeForce RTX 50 Series PC or laptop can enable DLSS Neural Rendering, capture a screenshot or video of a standout NBA 2K27 moment, and submit it through supported GeForce social channels. GeForce NOW Ultimate users can also participate using the service's RTX 5080 powered servers.
For entries submitted through X or Instagram, NVIDIA requires players to tag @NVIDIAGeForce and include #RTXPoster. Reddit and Discord entries follow instructions provided through individual GeForce competition prompts. NVIDIA is looking for moments such as game winners, celebrations, dunks, blocks, steals, matchups, and other memorable plays captured with DLSS 5 enabled.

Owning NBA 2K27 on an RTX 50 Series system is not the only way to participate. NVIDIA has created a second engagement category where users can respond to eligible GeForce posts by commenting, voting, sharing featured posters, or answering prompts related to NBA 2K27 and basketball culture. NVIDIA will select 2 winners from the content category and another 2 from the engagement category, meaning all 4 RTX 5090 cards will be awarded through judged submissions rather than a simple random drawing.
The competition began on September 10 and remains open until December 31, 2026 at 5 PM Pacific Time. Winners are scheduled to be selected and announced around January 31, 2027. Anyone selected must respond to NVIDIA within 7 days and complete the required documentation to claim the GPU. The competition is open to entrants aged 18 or older across a long list of eligible regions including the United States, United Kingdom, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, and several European countries.
The promotion arrives alongside the launch of DLSS 5 in NBA 2K27, the first official game to showcase NVIDIA's new 3D Guided Neural Rendering technology. Rather than relying only on conventional reconstruction, DLSS 5 uses game supplied data and neural processing to improve materials, lighting, and character presentation, making NBA 2K27 an obvious showcase for NVIDIA's latest RTX technology.
NVIDIA could have promoted DLSS 5 with another conventional hardware giveaway, but tying the RTX 5090 prizes directly to screenshots and gameplay moments makes considerably more sense for a technology focused on visual presentation.
The custom NBA 2K27 design also turns each RTX 5090 into a genuine collector piece rather than simply another flagship GPU. With 4 cards available and an engagement category that does not require owning an RTX 50 Series system, NVIDIA has also made the promotion accessible beyond the small group of players already running its latest hardware.
