Nioh 3 PC System Requirements Revealed and 1080p at 60 FPS Will Require RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT with Upscaling

Team Ninja has officially unveiled the PC system requirements for Nioh 3, outlining the hardware configurations needed to achieve smooth performance at 1080p resolution. The specifications published on the Steam store page confirm that while the game is not overly demanding on paper, players targeting 1080p at 60 frames per second will require modern midrange GPUs and rely on upscaling to hit performance targets.

The studio also confirmed that Nioh 3 will support Frame Generation, though technical details have not yet been provided.

Although the listed requirements seem reasonable for a modern action RPG, past Team Ninja PC releases like Wo Long Fallen Dynasty and Rise of the Ronin often required substantially stronger hardware than officially suggested due to launch day performance problems. This has raised caution within the PC community, and expectations are that Nioh 3 may need more horsepower than stated if the title encounters similar issues at release.

Despite these concerns, the third entry in the franchise is shaping up to be a strong culmination of Team Ninja’s recent design evolution, blending fast paced combat, precise timing, and the studio’s signature high challenge encounters. Its February 6 worldwide launch is positioned as a major moment for the series, and anticipation remains high across both console and PC players.

Do you think Nioh 3 will break the cycle of rough PC launches for Team Ninja, or should players expect to overprovision their hardware again? Share your thoughts below.
