MINIX Launches Strix Point-Based Mini PCs Starting at $789

MINIX has unveiled its most powerful compact systems to date, introducing two new flagship mini PCs powered by AMD’s latest Strix Point processors. These models, the ER937-AI and ER936-AI, deliver the cutting-edge performance of Zen 5 CPUs paired with RDNA 3.5 graphics, integrated AI acceleration, and modern connectivity standards including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and 2.5G Ethernet.

Previously, MINIX’s top model, the EU715-AI, was based on Intel’s Meteor Lake platform. With the launch of the ER937-AI and ER936-AI, the company is entering the Zen 5 era, offering higher core counts, improved graphics, and robust AI capabilities in compact, quiet, and efficient designs.

ER937-AI: Flagship Performance with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370

The ER937-AI is equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, a 12-core/24-thread processor capable of speeds up to 5.1 GHz. It also includes an integrated Radeon 890M GPU featuring 16 Compute Units based on RDNA 3.5, delivering strong graphics performance for gaming, 3D rendering, and creative workloads. The system also features an 80 TOPS Ryzen AI NPU, accelerating AI workloads for productivity, automation, and content creation.

The ER936-AI features the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365, a 10-core/20-thread processor capable of speeds up to 5.0 GHz, alongside the Radeon 880M GPU with 12 Compute Units. It also includes a dedicated NPU capable of 73 TOPS AI performance, making it highly capable for AI-assisted workflows and modern computing needs.

  • AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 (10C/20T, up to 5.0 GHz) + Ryzen AI NPU (73 TOPS)

  • Radeon 880M GPU (RDNA 3.5, 12 CUs)

Expandability and Cooling

Both models ship with 32 GB DDR5-5600 memory and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, expandable to 96 GB RAM and 8 TB storage. Cooling is handled by a dual-fan vapor chamber system for stable performance with low noise output.
