Metroid Prime Four Beyond Launches December Fourth With Enhanced Support for Nintendo Switch Two

Nintendo has officially confirmed that Metroid Prime Four Beyond will release on December fourth in the global market with support for both the current Nintendo Switch platform and the new Nintendo Switch Two system. The long awaited title has been developed by Retro Studios and represents one of the most important releases for the franchise in many years.

Metroid Prime Four Beyond introduces players to Viewros which is a new planet filled with natural environments alien species and expanded exploration opportunities. The game remains faithful to its core first person adventure identity while adding new traversal systems including a high speed speeder bike that allows Samus Aran to cross large areas with fluid navigation.

The version created for Nintendo Switch Two includes visual enhancements higher resolution textures accelerated loading improved lighting simulations and optional four K output when the system is docked to a supported display. Additionally it supports refined motion based aiming that takes advantage of the controller advancements of the upcoming console.

The launch of Metroid Prime Four Beyond is expected to drive significant momentum for Nintendo during the transition period toward Switch Two. It also strengthens Nintendo portfolio with a visually ambitious title created for both existing and upcoming hardware generations.
