Mafia The Old Country Man of Honor Reunites Enzo With Salieri on August 14

Mafia: The Old Country is expanding on August 14, 2026, with Man of Honor, a $10 story expansion that continues Enzo Favara’s journey while exploring the earlier years of Ennio Salieri. The downloadable content introduces 2 new story chapters, additional Free Ride missions, new locations, collectibles, weapons, vehicles, horses, outfits, and challenges for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The base game is required.

Set during the winter of 1905, only a few months after Enzo becomes a made man within the Torrisi crime family, the story follows Enzo and Cesare as they assist Salieri following his release from prison. The future Don is determined to settle old debts, regain what was taken from him, and pursue an opportunity capable of changing his life. Players will work alongside Salieri before his departure for the United States and eventual rise as the leader of the Salieri crime family in Lost Heaven.

Salieri operates from a warehouse in Porto Almaro and becomes the central contact for the expansion’s Free Ride content. His Challenges increase the difficulty of existing activities through standoffs, assassinations, circuit races, road sprints, and time trials. Salieri’s Jobs introduce more flexible objectives involving hidden loot, stolen vehicles, fragile cargo, safes, rival smugglers, and heavily defended locations. Successful assignments reward players with additional Dinari that can be spent on exclusive equipment and customization items.

Man of Honor adds 3 guns, 3 knives, 5 Charms, 3 vehicles, 2 horses, 3 outfits, and 5 hats. Some additions move beyond the grounded realism of the base game, including the Rimbalzu throwing knife, which can bounce between 2 enemies, and the Precisione Speciale, which can fire explosive ammunition. The Dolce Morte Charm can also make defeated enemies drop fruit that restores health and provides additional Dinari.

Valle Dorata receives new hidden locations and optional activities, including Wanted Posters featuring members of the development team, Stunt Jumps for early automobiles, and destructible sulfur trucks belonging to Salieri’s enemies. These additions expand the Free Ride mode beyond its existing combat encounters, stealth missions, and racing challenges.

The expansion was first announced during Summer Game Fest 2026, where Hangar 13 confirmed that the narrative would examine Salieri’s life before the events of the original Mafia. The new gameplay overview now provides a clearer picture of how the studio is connecting those story chapters with repeatable Free Ride activities.

Salieri is one of the most recognizable characters in the Mafia franchise, making his younger years a natural direction for expanding The Old Country. Instead of introducing an unrelated criminal organization, Man of Honor strengthens the connection between Enzo’s Sicilian story and the events that eventually unfold in Lost Heaven.

The $10 price also creates a focused proposition. The 2 narrative chapters provide the historical connection longtime players expect, while the additional jobs, extreme challenges, and collectibles give Free Ride mode a more substantial gameplay loop. The less realistic weapons may divide players who value the grounded tone of the series, but they could also make the optional content more varied without changing the main campaign.
