KLEVV has introduced its new CRAS V RGB PRIME DDR5 gaming memory, expanding its enthusiast lineup with speeds reaching 8000 MT/s, CAS latency as low as CL26, and support for AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency technology. According to the official KLEVV announcement, the series targets high performance gaming systems and demanding workloads, offering capacities up to 128GB alongside Intel XMP and AMD EXPO overclocking profiles.
The new memory is available in 6000, 6400, and 8000 MT/s configurations, with the 6000 MT/s models offering particularly aggressive CL26 timings. KLEVV also introduces a 128GB configuration operating at 6000 MT/s CL32, targeting users who require higher memory capacity without sacrificing operating frequency. The flagship 8000 MT/s variants feature CL38 timings and are offered in 32GB and 48GB kits.

One of the most significant additions is AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency certification for the 32GB kits operating at 6000 and 6400 MT/s. This technology optimizes secondary memory timings to reduce latency on compatible Ryzen systems. AMD claims certified ULL memory can deliver an average 4% improvement in gaming frame rates compared with conventional EXPO configurations, although actual results depend on the processor, motherboard, and workload. Similar improvements have also been demonstrated through BIOS memory timing optimization, reinforcing the growing importance of latency optimization beyond raw DDR5 frequency.
Internally, the CRAS V RGB PRIME features selected DRAM ICs, a 10 layer PCB, integrated PMIC, and on die ECC. The modules also incorporate a 2 mm aluminum heat spreader finished in black and gold, complemented by customizable RGB lighting compatible with ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, and ASRock Polychrome Sync. KLEVV has validated compatibility with major motherboard manufacturers, although reaching the advertised speeds requires appropriate BIOS profiles and compatible hardware.
According to the official specifications, the memory defaults to DDR5 4800 MT/s until its overclocking profile is enabled. The CRAS V RGB PRIME series is scheduled for availability in November 2026 with a limited lifetime warranty. Pricing has not yet been announced.
KLEVV's new lineup reflects a growing shift toward balancing DDR5 frequency with tighter memory timings rather than pursuing transfer speeds alone. The 6000 MT/s CL26 configuration is particularly interesting for AMD gaming systems, where memory latency can influence performance in CPU limited scenarios. However, with DDR5 pricing remaining elevated, the real competitive advantage will depend on whether KLEVV can deliver these specifications without the substantial premiums associated with other enthusiast memory kits.
What do you think? Would you choose DDR5 6000 CL26 with AMD EXPO ULL for lower latency, or prioritize the additional bandwidth of an 8000 MT/s kit?
