HWiNFO Adds Support for Intel Nova Lake H, HX, Panther Lake, and Arrow Lake Refresh CPUs in Latest Update

HWiNFO remains one of the industry’s most reliable indicators for upcoming hardware, and its latest update continues to reinforce that reputation. The monitoring tool has added early support for several next generation Intel processor families, signaling that these platforms are entering active preparation stages ahead of launch. According to the release notes for the upcoming HWiNFO version 8.35 new entries now include Nova Lake H, Nova Lake HX, Panther Lake, and multiple Arrow Lake Refresh processors.

While the software’s inclusion of new CPU IDs does not guarantee imminent commercial release, it strongly suggests that engineering samples are already being tested and validated. HWiNFO was previously one of the earliest tools to reference Intel Nova Lake, mostly identifying the desktop Nova Lake S series. This new update expands visibility into Intel’s next generation mobile platforms.

The release notes confirm database support for Nova Lake H and Nova Lake HX, enabling accurate detection and monitoring for both families. These mobile platforms have surfaced in earlier reports, including Nova Lake HX appearing in an NBD shipping manifest that confirmed its use of the BGA 2540 socket. This socket is roughly twenty percent larger than the BGA 2114 used for Arrow Lake HX, underscoring its positioning as a higher performance mobile solution.

Nova Lake H is expected to replace the Panther Lake H family and is rumored to feature up to sixteen cores with a hybrid architecture composed of four P cores based on Coyote Cove and eight E cores plus four LP E cores based on Arctic Wolf. Nova Lake HX pushes this even further, with expectations of doubling both Performance and Efficient core counts to deliver configurations of up to twenty eight cores. As a result, the HX series is anticipated to carry a higher default TDP envelope relative to the H lineup.

The latest HWiNFO update also acknowledges forthcoming Arrow Lake Refresh processors. Several new SKUs such as the Core Ultra 9 290K Plus, Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus have recently leaked. These chips are expected to offer elevated boost frequencies and increased core counts in certain segments, indicating a meaningful uplift over existing Arrow Lake models.

Support for Panther Lake appears once again in HWiNFO’s database references, reinforcing ongoing progress toward Intel’s next generation architecture roadmap.

Intel’s rapid cadence across Nova Lake, Panther Lake, and Arrow Lake Refresh showcases a forward leaning strategy that emphasizes mobility, efficiency, and performance scale. HWiNFO’s early support offers a valuable glimpse into the next phase of Intel’s CPU evolution.
