GMKtech Launches NucBox M6 Ultra Mini PC Powered by AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS
GMKtech has expanded its lineup of compact PCs with the launch of the new NucBox M6 Ultra, a versatile and budget-friendly mini PC designed for professionals, content creators, and everyday users. Starting at just $259, the device leverages the performance of AMD’s Ryzen 5 7640HS and Radeon 760M integrated graphics to deliver a strong entry-level solution for office tasks, multimedia, and casual gaming.
Powering Everyday Performance with Ryzen 5 7640HS
The NucBox M6 Ultra is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 5 7640HS, a 6-core/12-thread processor based on Zen 4 architecture, with boost clock speeds up to 5.0 GHz. It integrates the Radeon 760M GPU, featuring 8 RDNA 3 cores, capable of handling light graphics workloads, older titles, and popular eSports games. While not designed for modern AAA gaming, the combination of CPU and GPU performance makes it a practical, cost-effective solution for productivity and creative applications.
Connectivity and Expansion
The mini PC comes well-equipped with modern connectivity options, including:
Dual 2.5G LAN ports for high-speed wired networking.
WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity.
Display support with 1x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort.
Multiple USB Type-A ports and a USB4 Type-C port for high-bandwidth peripherals.
The NucBox M6 Ultra supports up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 8 TB of SSD storage, making it highly customizable for different usage needs.
The NucBox M6 Ultra will be available in three main configurations:
Barebone (no SSD, no RAM, no Windows OS) – $259
16 GB DDR5 4800 MHz + 512 GB SSD – $339
32 GB DDR5 4800 MHz + 1 TB SSD – $389
To celebrate the launch, GMKtech is offering a $12 discount with promo code PRM6U12, valid from August 20 to August 31, 2025.
Successor to the NucBox M6
This new release follows the NucBox M6, which was powered by the Ryzen 5 6600H. The M6 Ultra provides an upgrade in both CPU and GPU performance, while continuing the series’ tradition of offering versatile mini PCs at affordable prices.
Would you consider the NucBox M6 Ultra as a budget-friendly solution for your workspace or creative projects, or do you think mini PCs still have limitations compared to traditional desktops?
