Ghost of Yotei Legends Co-Op Multiplayer Confirmed for 2026, New Gameplay Shown at Gamescom ONL
Ghost of Yotei will officially launch on October 2, 2025, for PS5 and PS5 Pro, and ahead of release, developer Sucker Punch Productions confirmed during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025 that its beloved co-op mode, Legends, will return. Titled Ghost of Yotei Legends, the free DLC is set to arrive in 2026, offering fans another reason to return to Yotei’s mystical world.
Just like Ghost of Tsushima Legends, this expansion will be free for all owners of Ghost of Yotei. Sucker Punch outlined new details in the official PlayStation Blog post, giving fans a taste of the supernatural challenges ahead.
What to Expect from Ghost of Yotei Legends
Two-player story missions and four-player survival matches will return, keeping the cooperative spirit alive.
Players can choose from four unique character classes, each bringing distinct skills to team-based combat.
The main enemies are demonic, giant versions of the Yōtei Six, accompanied by terrifying new creatures introduced exclusively for Legends.
Early concept art shared on the PlayStation Blog shows the scale and variety of the monstrous foes players will face.
The addition of Legends solidifies Ghost of Yotei as not only a cinematic single-player experience but also a long-term multiplayer adventure.
