Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Gears of War: Reloaded, Persona 4 Golden and More Coming to Xbox Game Pass in August
Xbox has revealed the next wave of titles joining Xbox Game Pass for the second half of August 2025, headlined by some major names including Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Gears of War: Reloaded, and Persona 4 Golden.
The month already kicked off strong with Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Citizen Sleeper 2, alongside the surprise Heretic + Hexen shadow-drop. With today’s announcement, Xbox is rounding out August with a well-balanced mix of AAA blockbusters, cult classics, and quirky indie titles.
Among the highlights:
Dragon Age: The Veilguard arrives on August 28, giving BioWare fans day-one access to the highly anticipated RPG through Game Pass.
Gears of War: Reloaded drops on August 26, the fully remastered return of Xbox’s iconic shooter franchise, now with cross-platform play.
Persona 4 Golden joins on August 20, bringing Atlus’ legendary JRPG to consoles and PC Game Pass with cloud support.
Indie fans can look forward to Void/Breaker, a stylish roguelite FPS, and Herdling, a charming creature-herding adventure.
