ASUS Teases Gold And Black ROG Astral RTX 50 Series BTF GPU For ROG 20th Anniversary
ASUS is preparing a new wave of Republic of Gamers products for ROG’s 20th anniversary, and the latest teaser suggests that one of the highlights could be a special edition ROG Astral RTX 50 Series BTF graphics card with a gold and black color theme. The reveal appeared in a short ROG Global teaser video, where ASUS briefly showcased several upcoming products expected to appear around Computex 2026. The event will take place from June 2 to June 6, and ASUS appears ready to use the occasion to expand its ROG anniversary lineup beyond the already revealed ROG 20th Anniversary Crosshair edition motherboard.
Near the end of the video, ASUS shows what appear to be 5 new ROG products. Although the teaser does not provide a clear full view of each device, the lineup seems to include a motherboard, an AIO liquid cooler, a power supply, a graphics card, and possibly a new ROG NUC mini PC. All of them appear to follow the same premium anniversary design language, with gold and black accents replacing the more familiar dark grey and silver tones normally seen across many ROG products.
The graphics card is the most notable part of the teaser. Based on the design language shown in the video, it appears to be part of the ROG Astral family and may use ASUS’s BTF layout. The card shown also appears to include a small HPWR connector near the PCIe slot, which points toward a high performance RTX 50 Series model. ASUS has not confirmed the exact GPU, but current speculation suggests it could be either the GeForce RTX 5090 or GeForce RTX 5080, with the connector layout making the RTX 5090 a strong possibility.
The anniversary edition design appears to make a clear visual shift from the standard ROG Astral aesthetic. Instead of the regular black, grey, and silver styling, this special edition seems to use a more premium gold and black finish. That same visual direction is also seen across the other teased ROG products, giving the upcoming lineup a more unified anniversary identity.
ASUS has not disclosed specifications, clock speeds, power limits, cooling details, pricing, or availability for the teased GPU. However, if this is indeed an ROG Astral RTX 50 Series BTF card, it will likely sit in the premium category and may feature factory overclocking, a high end cooling solution, and a design focused on cleaner cable management when paired with compatible BTF components.
The BTF concept remains an important part of ASUS’s current ecosystem strategy. By reducing visible cabling and moving key connections away from the front facing side of the build, BTF products are designed for cleaner showcase systems. This fits well with the ROG 20th Anniversary theme, especially as more PC builders are prioritizing visual presentation, airflow, and cable free layouts in premium gaming builds.
The timing also makes sense. Computex is one of the most important showcases for PC hardware, and ROG’s 20th anniversary gives ASUS a strong opportunity to present limited edition or premium tier products across several categories. A gold and black ROG Astral RTX 50 Series BTF GPU would give the lineup a flagship centerpiece, especially for builders planning a full anniversary themed system.
For now, ASUS has only teased the product stack, so the final specifications remain unconfirmed. Still, the video strongly suggests that ROG’s 20th anniversary lineup will go beyond a single motherboard and may include a full ecosystem of matching components designed for high end gaming PCs.
Would you build a full gold and black ROG 20th Anniversary PC around this teased ROG Astral RTX 50 Series BTF GPU?
