ASRock Launches Rock Series AIO Coolers With Digital and ARGB Options
ASRock has expanded its CPU cooling portfolio with the new Rock Series AIO liquid coolers, introducing 8 models aimed at builders looking for straightforward cooling, simplified installation and clean styling without moving into the company's more premium cooling families. The lineup is available with 240 mm and 360 mm radiators, black or white finishes, and a choice between Digital and ARGB pump designs.
The Digital models feature a 1.05 inch display designed to provide a real time CPU temperature readout, while the ARGB versions replace the display with more traditional lighting integrated into the water block. ASRock supports the Digital display through its Rock Driver, while lighting can be managed through the company's broader RGB ecosystem. This gives buyers a choice between functional hardware monitoring and a simpler illuminated design without significantly changing the underlying cooling platform.
Every Rock Series cooler uses a 3 phase, 6 slot, 4 pole pump design operating at up to 3200 RPM together with a precision machined copper cold plate and dual side coolant inlet. ASRock says the inlet design distributes coolant across the microfin array from multiple directions to improve thermal efficiency around the CPU hot spot. The included unified frame radiator fans operate at up to 1850 RPM, delivering up to 52.4 CFM airflow and 1.7 mmH2O static pressure with a maximum rated noise level of 30.7 dBA.
The coolers also support 0 dB operation, allowing the radiator fans to stop completely during sufficiently light workloads. ASRock uses IIR and EPDM tubing, includes its Therm X1 thermal compound and ships the fans already installed in a unified frame configuration to simplify cable management and assembly. Compatibility covers AMD AM5 and AM4 together with Intel LGA 1851 and LGA 1700, while every model receives a 6 year warranty.
The Rock Series arrives as CPU cooling manufacturers increasingly take different approaches to balancing performance, aesthetics and cost. While ASRock is giving mainstream builders both Digital and ARGB options, Noctua has taken almost the opposite direction by saying RGB lighting and integrated screens remain unlikely for its coolers. ASRock has not yet announced regional pricing or retail availability for the new Rock Series, leaving its final value position against increasingly competitive 240 mm and 360 mm AIO alternatives still to be determined.
The Rock Series looks less focused on chasing oversized LCD screens and more interested in covering the features most mainstream gaming builds actually use. A 1.05 inch temperature display, 0 dB fan operation, unified frame fans and a 6 year warranty create a practical package, while the separate ARGB editions give builders an even simpler option. Pricing will ultimately determine how competitive the lineup is, especially as the AIO market now includes increasingly aggressive budget options alongside established enthusiast coolers.
