ACEMAGIC F9A Packs Ryzen AI Max Plus 395 Into a 2 Liter Mini Workstation

ACEMAGIC has introduced the F9A mini workstation, a compact 2 liter system powered by AMD’s flagship Ryzen AI Max Plus 395 processor. The machine targets local artificial intelligence, content creation, productivity, and gaming users who want workstation class performance without a traditional desktop tower. ACEMAGIC has not yet confirmed pricing or a general availability date.

The Ryzen AI Max Plus 395 combines 16 Zen 5 CPU cores, 32 threads, and boost speeds of up to 5.1 GHz with Radeon 8060S integrated graphics. The GPU includes 40 compute units running at up to 2900 MHz, while the XDNA 2 NPU provides up to 50 TOPS. AMD rates the complete CPU, GPU, and NPU platform at up to 126 TOPS of artificial intelligence performance.

ACEMAGIC pairs the processor with up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X 8000 unified memory, allowing more memory to be allocated to graphics and local artificial intelligence workloads than on conventional integrated graphics systems. The company claims the system can run models containing as many as 120 billion parameters locally, although actual performance will depend on model precision, available memory, software support, and workload optimization.

Storage expansion includes 2 M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe slots. The F9A also provides an OCuLink PCIe 4.0 x4 connection for external graphics cards or artificial intelligence accelerators, giving users an upgrade path when the integrated Radeon 8060S is insufficient for demanding rendering, gaming, or compute workloads.

Connectivity includes 2 USB4 ports with 40 Gbps bandwidth, HDMI 2.1, 2 2.5 GbE network ports, 3 USB Type A ports with 10 Gbps support, an SD 4.0 card reader, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 3.5 mm audio connection. The system can operate up to 4 independent 8K displays, making it suitable for production, development, analytics, and multi display workstation environments.

ACEMAGIC has also equipped the F9A with a dedicated physical Copilot button, a 4 unit far field microphone array, artificial intelligence noise reduction, beamforming voice capture, and 2 integrated 2W speakers. These features position the system as an all in one conference and remote work device without requiring separate audio equipment.

The aluminum chassis measures 158 x 158 x 85 mm and has an internal volume of approximately 2.0 liters. ACEMAGIC is offering silver and space gray finishes with a customizable RGB ambient lighting ring. The significantly smaller design differentiates the F9A from the company’s previously released TANK CENTRE M1A PRO Plus, which uses the same Ryzen AI Max Plus 395 platform inside a larger cube shaped chassis.

The F9A represents one of the most complete implementations of AMD’s Ryzen AI Max Plus 395 platform in a compact mini PC. Its greatest advantage is not only the 16 core processor or powerful Radeon 8060S graphics, but the combination of 128 GB unified memory, OCuLink expansion, dual USB4, and modern networking inside a 2 liter chassis.

The main concern will be sustained performance. Ryzen AI Max Plus 395 supports configurable power levels reaching 120W, and cooling that amount of heat inside such a small enclosure could affect clock speeds, fan noise, and long duration workload stability. Pricing will also determine whether the F9A can compete effectively against larger mini workstations such as the ASRock AI BOX A395 and traditional desktops with dedicated graphics.
