ZOTAC Quietly Releases New Mini PC ZBOX Magnus Featuring RTX 5070 Ti and Intel Core Ultra 7 265 at 3000$

ZOTAC has silently expanded its compact high performance mini PC lineup with the launch of a new ZBOX Magnus EU27507TC, an 8.48 litres system combining a desktop class GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GPU with Intel’s Core Ultra 7 265 processor. First reported by IT Home and their coverage can be found here via IT Home The system has already appeared for sale on JD, signaling immediate availability.

This new Magnus variant builds on ZOTAC’s October release of the remarkably small 2.65 litres ZBOX Magnus EN275060TC which housed a mobile RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GPU. That earlier model was recognized as the smallest discrete GPU powered mini PC ever released thanks to its mobile platform architecture. For the new EU27507TC ZOTAC shifted away from the mobile approach in favor of a desktop hardware configuration enabling substantially higher performance. The trade off is a larger chassis but even at 8.48 litres the system remains noticeably smaller than most mini ITX builds and broadly comparable to modern gaming consoles.

ZOTAC has adopted a distinctly different exterior design for this RTX 5070 Ti model while also improving connectivity. The new chassis includes multiple USB Type A ports, a Thunderbolt 4 Type C port, dual LAN options with 5 GbE and 1 GbE support, and integrated WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Although internal layout images have not yet been shared the enclosure appears to feature ventilation on several sides, suggesting a focus on maintaining airflow for the higher wattage desktop GPU.

Storage flexibility is one of the notable strengths of the EU27507TC. The system includes one PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, one PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot, and even a SATA SSD bay, which is increasingly rare in compact performance systems. Memory support is provided through two DDR5 CSODIMM slots. As with previous Magnus releases ZOTAC is offering the barebones edition without RAM or storage. Priced on JD at 20,999 Yuan (approximately USD 2,972) the cost aligns with previous high end Magnus models, including the EN275060TC which debuted around USD 2,000 without memory or storage. Given current memory and SSD pricing, fully outfitting the system will require a significant additional investment.

ZOTAC’s newest ZBOX Magnus continues the company’s focus on ultra compact systems capable of delivering desktop grade gaming and workstation class performance. With the RTX 5070 Ti and Intel’s latest Core Ultra platform inside a sub 10 litre design the EU27507TC stands as one of the most powerful commercial small form factor systems currently available despite its premium price point.

Would you consider a compact RTX 5070 Ti system like this for your next build, or is the price too steep for a barebones mini PC? Share your thoughts.
