Samson: A Tyndalston Story and Morbid Metal Lead This Week’s New GeForce NOW Additions as Starfield Becomes RTX 5080 Ready

NVIDIA has revealed this week’s latest wave of additions for GeForce NOW, with Samson: A Tyndalston Story and Morbid Metal headlining the update as the 2 biggest new arrivals. According to NVIDIA’s official weekly roundup, 4 games are joining the cloud streaming library this week, while Starfield is also receiving GeForce RTX 5080 ready support just as its new Terran Armada DLC and Free Lanes update go live.

The first major new release is Samson: A Tyndalston Story, which NVIDIA says is now available on Steam and streamable through GeForce NOW starting April 8. NVIDIA is clearly positioning it as one of the main attractions of the week, describing it as a cinematic action experience built around melee combat, narrative choices, and a grim urban setting, while also highlighting support for ray traced global illumination, reflections, shadows, DLSS 3.5, and Reflex. NVIDIA also confirms that Samson is one of this week’s GeForce RTX 5080 ready games.

The other major new launch is Morbid Metal, which also joins GeForce NOW as a new Steam release on April 8 and is likewise marked as GeForce RTX 5080 ready by NVIDIA. That gives this week’s update a strong pair of visually ambitious newcomers, both tied directly to NVIDIA’s latest top tier cloud hardware profile.

Beyond those 2, the rest of the weekly batch rounds out the lineup with a mix of older franchise appeal and live service relevance. DayZ is joining as a new Xbox release available on Game Pass on April 9, while Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition arrives through Steam and Ubisoft. NVIDIA specifically frames the Rayman release as a celebration of the franchise’s 30 year legacy, noting that the edition includes 5 versions from classic consoles, more than 120 additional levels, and an exclusive documentary focused on the series’ creation and importance.

The other notable development this week is Starfield, which NVIDIA says is now also GeForce RTX 5080 ready. While Starfield is not one of the new library additions for the week, it is one of the biggest names attached to the update because the timing aligns directly with the game’s newest content push and renewed platform momentum. For GeForce NOW members already playing the game through Steam or Xbox, including Game Pass, this means access to a higher end cloud profile right as Bethesda’s latest expansion cycle arrives.

    • Samson: A Tyndalston Story

    • Morbid Metal

    • DayZ

    • Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition

    • Starfield now GeForce RTX 5080 ready

From a service perspective, this is a solid weekly update rather than a massive one. The biggest value comes from the combination of 2 brand new releases, an enduring survival game in DayZ, a legacy platforming name in Rayman, and a meaningful upgrade for Starfield users. It is also another example of NVIDIA continuing to use RTX 5080 ready labeling as a way to spotlight premium cloud experiences for higher end members. That final point is an inference based on how NVIDIA presents the week’s lineup and hardware support designations.

Which game in this week’s GeForce NOW batch stands out most to you: Samson, Morbid Metal, DayZ, Rayman, or Starfield with its new RTX 5080 ready profile?
