Team NINJA delivered one of the more surprising announcements of the Xbox Games Showcase with Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, the next entry in its dark fantasy Three Kingdoms action RPG series. The game follows Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, which launched in 2023 and has now surpassed more than 5 million players worldwide.

The reveal stood out in a showcase already packed with major updates for games such as Fable and Halo: Campaign Evolved.
