v-color announce World’s First workstation DDR5 RDIMM RGB Modules, Achieving Up to 8000MT/s up 512GB Capacity configuration
v-color Technology Inc., a leading innovator in high-performance DRAM solutions, has officially announced the industry’s first overclockable DDR5 RDIMM RGB memory modules. Designed to meet the needs of modern AI computing, professional workstations, and data-intensive environments, these modules offer unprecedented speeds of up to 8000MT/s and configurations scaling to 512GB (64GB x8).
Protected under Patent No. M667728, these groundbreaking modules combine aggressive performance with customizable RGB lighting and feature ON-Die ECC for enhanced stability. Optimized for AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ and Intel® Xeon® platforms, they are targeted at professionals working in AI development, 3D rendering, and real-time analytics who demand peak memory bandwidth and system responsiveness.
Test and Validation
v-color validated the performance of its DDR5 OC RDIMM RGB modules across high-end workstation platforms. Notably, the company demonstrated stable overclocking at 8000MT/s CL40 1.35V using a 128GB (32GB x4) configuration on an AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ system paired with the TRX50 AI TOP motherboard.
On the Intel® front, the modules reached 6000MT/s with ultra-low latency CL28 in a 96GB (24GB x4) setup, tested successfully on an ASUS PRO WS W790-SAGE SE motherboard with Xeon® processors. Both configurations passed rigorous stress testing, underscoring the modules' thermal reliability and consistent performance in AI and creative workloads.
Product Lineup and Features
v-color’s new DDR5 OC RDIMM RGB lineup includes three performance categories:
Extreme Overclocking: Achieves up to 8000MT/s in 4- and 8-module kits (24GB x4, 24GB x8)
Ultra-Low Timing: Offers 6000MT/s at CL28 for professionals who require ultra-responsive memory configurations
Professional Stability: JEDEC-compliant speeds from 4800MT/s to 5600MT/s for maximum reliability
All modules are built using premium-grade ICs, ON-Die ECC, and advanced heat dissipation designs. Available in sleek Black or Silver heatsinks, they also feature addressable RGB lighting, ensuring compatibility with modern workstation aesthetics.
Workstation Integration: FusionX AIO Cooling
To complement these new memory solutions, v-color also announced the X-vcolor FusionX I5 and A5 All-In-One liquid cooling systems. These cooling units are engineered for AMD Threadripper™ and Intel® Xeon® CPUs and feature custom cold plates designed to cover larger die surfaces. The I5 variant includes RGB lighting, while the A5 offers a minimalistic design. Developed in collaboration with Cooler Master, these coolers meet the demands of high-performance computing with whisper-quiet operation.
