Sacred 2: Fallen Angel Remaster Officially Announced for PC and Consoles with Enhanced Combat, UI Overhaul, and Full DLC Content

During the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase, the beloved 2008 action-RPG Sacred 2: Fallen Angel was confirmed to be returning in a newly remastered edition, developed by Jumpgate and Sparkling Bit. While no release date or launch window was announced, the remaster is officially headed to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Originally developed by Ascaron, Sacred 2 earned its place among action-RPG fans for its expansive world, diverse character classes, and deep loot-driven gameplay. This remastered edition aims to revitalize the experience with refined combat mechanics, an improved UI, high-resolution textures, and comprehensive gameplay system enhancements. Most notably, the remaster will ship with all previously released DLC and updates, ensuring both newcomers and returning fans enjoy the most complete version of the game to date.

In the announcement trailer, THQ Nordic emphasized that this remaster is a "fixed and polished" version developed in close collaboration with their loyal community, suggesting player feedback played a pivotal role in the project’s direction and refinements.

While THQ Nordic has yet to provide a specific timeline for launch, the remaster of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel stands as a testament to the ongoing revival of classic RPGs for modern platforms. With updated systems and visuals, the return to Ancaria is shaping up to be more immersive and rewarding than ever.
