Roguelite-Survival Game Let It Die: Inferno Launches December 3 for $24.99

GungHo Online Entertainment has officially announced Let It Die: Inferno, the next entry in the Let It Die series, during Sony’s latest State of Play showcase. The game will release on December 3, 2025, for both PC and PlayStation 5, introducing a chaotic blend of roguelite survival mechanics and PvEvP combat.

In Let It Die: Inferno, players descend into the Hell Gate, a deadly labyrinth filled with grotesque monsters, shifting stage layouts, and rival raiders who all seek the legendary treasure known as the Eye of the Reaper. Whoever secures it gains immense, untold power - but survival is far from guaranteed.

The game blends PvE and PvP elements seamlessly:

  • Players must fight terrifying demons and hostile human enemies.

  • Survival depends on melee-focused combat, unique weapon abilities, and strategic adaptability.

  • Every Raider starts with a character-specific dual-wield weapon, but new weapons can be scavenged and swapped mid-run.

  • Weapon combinations unlock special attacks, ensuring no two descents play the same.

As GungHo’s associate community manager Allyson Nicholas explains, “Within the Hell Gate, all bets are off. It’s roguelite survival action in a chaotic PvEvP environment.”

The last major entry in the franchise was Deathverse: Let It Die, a free-to-play spin-off that was shut down in 2023 for “redevelopment.” While GungHo hasn’t explicitly confirmed it, Let It Die: Inferno appears to carry forward that reimagined vision, this time with a more refined survival-roguelite focus.

Unlike its predecessor, Let It Die: Inferno won’t be free-to-play. Instead, it will launch at a modest price of $24.99, making it an accessible entry point for both newcomers and longtime fans eager to return to the madness.

The return of Let It Die brings with it a brutal new roguelite-survival twist, and with its December release date set, fans won’t have to wait long to dive into the depths of Hell Gate.

What do you think - will the $24.99 price tag make Let It Die: Inferno a worthy successor, or will fans still miss the free-to-play model of Deathverse?
