Rockstar Releases GTA 6 Launch Trailer Featuring Justice, SZA and Tame Impala

Rockstar Games has released the 90 second launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, showcasing new cinematic footage of Jason, Lucia, Vice City, and Leonida ahead of the game's November 19, 2026 release. The official trailer features "Flower in a Hurricane," a new track by Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

Justice also composed GTA VI's original score, while Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album features 34 tracks from artists including Travis Scott, Yung Lean, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, and Cardi B. The soundtrack launches alongside the game, with digital pre saves and physical editions available through the official store.

The trailer emphasizes Rockstar's cinematic presentation without revealing significant new gameplay details. Following its previous development delay, GTA VI remains scheduled for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release date has not been announced.

Rockstar continues using music and cinematic storytelling to establish GTA VI's identity, with Justice's electronic sound complementing Vice City's atmosphere. While the trailer reinforces the game's visual ambitions, questions remain about gameplay depth, optimization, and performance on current generation consoles.

What impressed you most about GTA VI's launch trailer: the visuals, Vice City's atmosphere, or its soundtrack?
