Rockstar Launches Cfx Marketplace, An Official Modding Store For FiveM And RedM Creators
Rockstar Games has launched a new official storefront called the Cfx Marketplace, giving creators a centralized place to sell mods built for FiveM and RedM, the popular modding frameworks for Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2. The store is now live at Cfx Marketplace, and it marks a major step in Rockstar’s ongoing shift toward structured user generated content, especially after Rockstar acquired Cfx.re in August 2023.
From a creator economy perspective, this is a clear platform play. By formalizing a marketplace, Rockstar and the Cfx team are moving FiveM and RedM closer to a sustainable monetization loop where top creators can sell premium scripts, maps, and server experiences with a more visible distribution channel. For server owners, it also creates a more standardized way to discover, purchase, and maintain content without relying solely on scattered community listings.
At launch, Rockstar’s announcement highlights a list of creators already participating in Cfx Marketplace.

One of the standout listings available right now is a FiveM focused version of NaturalVision, a graphics overhaul that has been widely recognized in the community for its visual transformation work. The NaturalVision FiveM Server Graphics Pack is positioned for FiveM server owners who want a unified look for everyone connected to the server, with upgrades to weather, lighting, ambient color tuning, tonemapping, and more. The pricing is listed as 12.19$ per month, which is a strong signal that recurring subscription style monetization will be a meaningful part of this ecosystem.
Another detail that stands out is that the Marketplace already includes filters for mods that enhance the single player versions of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2. There are no single player mods listed at the moment, but the existence of those filters suggests the storefront is being designed with future expansion in mind, and that creators may eventually be able to distribute single player focused content through the same pipeline.
On the high end of pricing, the most expensive listing currently visible is the MRPD Hospital Mechanic Bundle, which includes full map content for the Mission Row Police Department, a hospital, and a mechanic location. The bundle is priced at 201.29$, positioning it as a premium asset pack for roleplay servers that want high production value environments without commissioning custom work from scratch.
For Rockstar, the Cfx Marketplace also fits neatly into the broader narrative that GTA’s future is increasingly intertwined with user generated content, server communities, and creator driven experiences. Even without any direct Grand Theft Auto VI confirmation here, the strategic direction is clear: build the rails now, grow the creator ecosystem, then scale that playbook wherever Rockstar’s next platform ambitions go.
What do you want this marketplace to prioritize first, stricter quality control, better discovery tools for server owners, or clearer revenue sharing and licensing protections for creators?
