Silent Hill 2 Arrives on Xbox Series S and X With a Fifty Percent Launch Discount

KONAMI has officially released the Silent Hill 2 remake on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and the Xbox PC Store, marking the long awaited arrival of the acclaimed survival horror title on the Xbox ecosystem. The game supports Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning a single purchase grants access on both console and PC within the Xbox platform.

To celebrate the launch, KONAMI is offering a significant promotion. Both the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition of Silent Hill 2 are now available at fifty percent off on Xbox and PlayStation 5. The Steam version currently remains at full price, but with the platform’s Black Friday sale approaching, a discount may be introduced soon.

With the promotion applied, the Standard Edition of Silent Hill 2 is priced at thirty four dollars and ninety nine cents, while the Deluxe Edition costs thirty nine dollars and ninety nine cents. Players can also opt for a dual Digital Bundle that pairs Silent Hill 2 with Silent Hill f, which launched earlier this year. The Standard Edition of the bundle is available for seventy nine dollars and ninety nine cents, while the Deluxe Edition is set at ninety five dollars and ninety nine cents. As part of KONAMI’s Black Friday offerings, Silent Hill f is also discounted by twenty percent when purchased separately.

The Silent Hill 2 remake originally launched in October 2024 to widespread critical praise. Powered by modern technology and rebuilt with renewed attention to atmosphere, sound, and psychological tension, the remake successfully revitalized one of the most influential horror games of all time. To date, the game has sold more than two and a half million copies, and the arrival on Xbox is expected to push total sales toward the three million mark in the near future.

Following this year’s well received release of Silent Hill f, the franchise will next expand with Silent Hill Townfall, a spin off title that was recently listed by a retailer with a projected launch window of March 2026. More official details on Townfall are expected in the months ahead.
