Project Motor Racing Launches This November With Full Day-One Modding Support, New Trailer Highlights Career Mode

Straight4 Studios, in collaboration with publisher GIANTS Software, has officially announced that Project Motor Racing will launch on November 25, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Accompanying the release date is a brand-new trailer that introduces players to the career mode, offering a gritty and authentic take on what it means to be a professional race driver.

The career mode doesn't glamorize the finish line. Instead, it dives into the behind-the-scenes decisions and risks faced by real motorsport professionals. In Project Motor Racing, managing budgets, car repairs, and sponsorships is just as crucial as overtaking your rivals on the track. Straight4 Studios' design director Austin Ogonoski emphasized this philosophy:

“We wanted to capture the harsh reality of pro motorsport. Budgets, repairs, sponsors. Failed overtakes that don't just wreck your car but your whole season. Your career in Project Motor Racing is motorsport with consequences.”

Players will face tough decisions: whether to push the limits and risk a crash or play it safe and save their car for future races. Each career arc is shaped not just by race wins but also by financial survival, sponsor management, and vehicle maintenance—turning every event into a high-stakes gamble.

In addition to its deeply immersive career simulation, GIANTS Software confirmed that Project Motor Racing will feature full modding support on day one. Built on the GIANTS Engine, known for powering the wildly popular Farming Simulator series, this tech enables a flexible, community-driven experience.
Boris Stefan, Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software, explained:

Project Motor Racing taps into the same powerhouse modding ecosystem as Farming Simulator. Racing modders will be able to tweak, tune, and transform their experience however they like.”

This open modding approach signals a clear focus on community engagement, giving players the tools to add cars, tweak physics, and build custom tracks right out of the gate.

Pre-orders for Project Motor Racing are now available across all platforms, with more announcements expected in the lead-up to its release. With authentic career dynamics and robust modding features, Project Motor Racing is positioning itself as one of 2025’s most ambitious sim racing experiences.

Will you play it safe, or risk it all for the podium? Let us know how you'll approach your career in Project Motor Racing.
