Philips Launches 24B2D5300 Dual Sided Business Monitor With Screens On Both Sides For Professional Workflows

Philips has introduced the 24B2D5300, a new business monitor designed with displays on both sides, creating a practical solution for workplaces that need to share information between employees and customers without relying on a second monitor setup. The new Philips 24B2D5300 business monitor targets professional environments where traditional single screen displays can limit interaction. In locations such as reception desks, service counters, banks, healthcare facilities, and retail checkouts, staff often need to show information to a customer or visitor standing on the other side of the desk. Philips is addressing that workflow with a standalone monitor that places a screen on each side of the unit.

The 24B2D5300 uses a dual screen configuration, with one display facing the operator and another display facing the person on the opposite side. This allows businesses to mirror content, extend the desktop, or split workloads across both panels depending on the situation. For customer facing environments, the monitor can display purchase details, check in information, interactive applications, personalized content, or secure transaction related data without requiring staff to rotate a monitor or add a separate display.

Each side features a 24 inch IPS panel with up to 1080p resolution, delivering clear visuals and wide viewing angles for both the employee and the customer. The monitor also supports up to 120 Hz refresh rate, which should make motion appear smoother when compared with standard 60 Hz displays. While high refresh rate is usually associated with gaming monitors, smoother movement can also benefit business interfaces, touch style workflows, scrolling content, and dynamic customer displays.

Connectivity is also positioned for modern business deployment. Both displays include USB Type C and HDMI, giving offices and service counters flexibility when connecting different systems. This allows the 24B2D5300 to operate as a mirrored display, an extended desktop, or a split work environment depending on how the business wants to configure its front desk or counter workflow.

Philips highlights the monitor as especially useful for reception areas, banking counters, healthcare facilities, and other customer service environments where better visual communication can improve the interaction process. In a clinic or hospital, for example, one side could display staff tools while the other shows appointment or check in information. In a bank or retail space, the customer facing screen could show transaction details while the staff side remains focused on internal tools.

The dual sided design also helps businesses handle sensitive information more efficiently. Instead of turning a private employee screen toward a customer, companies can control what appears on the second display while keeping internal data on the staff facing side. This makes the monitor more than a simple convenience product. It becomes a workflow tool for industries where communication, privacy, and service speed all matter.

The Philips 24B2D5300 has launched at £359.99 and is expected to begin shipping in June 2026. With its dual sided standalone design, 24 inch IPS displays, 120 Hz refresh rate, and flexible connection options, the monitor brings a focused business solution for companies looking to improve customer interaction without adding multiple separate screens to the workspace.

Would you use a dual sided monitor like the Philips 24B2D5300 for business counters, reception desks, or customer service workflows?
