NVIDIA Expands GeForce NOW With 12 New Games as the Service Marks 6 Years and Surpasses 4500 Supported Titles

NVIDIA is celebrating the 6th anniversary of GeForce NOW this month, and the latest GeForce NOW Thursday update adds 12 more games to a library that now spans over 4500 supported titles. The announcement comes via NVIDIA’s official GeForce NOW Thursday post, which outlines the new arrivals and highlights a handful of technical features tied to the latest batch.

The biggest headline for performance focused players is that 2 of the newly added games are labeled GeForce RTX 5080 ready, and both are brand new releases. While that is a smaller number than some weekly drops, the upside is that these are fresh launches meant to showcase premium cloud performance out of the gate, which is exactly the kind of positioning NVIDIA wants when celebrating a milestone month.

Beyond the RTX 5080 ready highlights, NVIDIA also calls out Norse Oath of Blood as part of the weekly additions, noting support for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. This matters because GeForce NOW’s value proposition is not only access and convenience, but also the ability to stream a modern feature stack to devices that might not otherwise handle cutting edge rendering upgrades locally. In practical terms, features like DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation can be the difference between a game feeling smooth and responsive versus feeling like a compromise, especially when the content is visually dense or effects heavy.

This week’s drop also expands access to the Trine series within GeForce NOW. Players can now stream most of the Trine Collection through the service, with Trine 1 through Trine 4 now available, giving co op platformer fans a clean path to revisit the full arc without worrying about local installs and hardware headroom.

As part of the anniversary celebration, NVIDIA is also running a community giveaway on Reddit where players can share in game screenshots for a chance to win prizes including an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K and a Thrustmaster HOTAS ONE flight stick. NVIDIA also notes that the timing is especially relevant because a native Amazon Fire TV GeForce NOW app went live last week, making Fire TV an even more direct on ramp for cloud streaming without extra workarounds.

From a market perspective, this update reinforces NVIDIA’s play to keep GeForce NOW positioned as a high velocity content hub. Weekly library growth keeps the platform top of mind, while selective RTX 5080 ready tagging helps NVIDIA spotlight premium performance narratives. For players, the value is straightforward. More supported releases, more options across storefronts, and more reasons to treat cloud streaming as a primary lane rather than a backup plan.

Which matters more to you for GeForce NOW updates, more day 1 new releases every week, or more AAA performance showcase titles labeled RTX 5080 ready even if the weekly count is smaller?
