NVIDIA DLSS 4 Now Supported in 175+ Games; Resident Evil Requiem and Directive 8020 to Feature Full Path Tracing

NVIDIA has officially confirmed during Gamescom 2025 that DLSS 4 is now supported in more than 175 games, marking a major milestone in the company’s AI-driven rendering technology. The list is set to grow even further with upcoming titles such as Resident Evil Requiem (Capcom) and Directive 8020 (Supermassive Games), both of which will launch in 2026 with DLSS 4 support and full path tracing, maximizing graphical fidelity and performance.

Expanding the DLSS 4 Lineup

Alongside the big-name confirmations, several additional games will join the DLSS 4 ecosystem with ray tracing and AI-driven rendering optimizations:

  • Black State – A stealth action/adventure game from Motion Blur (Turkey).

  • Cinder City – Formerly known as Project LLL, an MMO shooter from NCSoft first announced in 2022.

  • Cronos: The New Dawn – A sci-fi survival horror IP from Bloober Team, arriving in just a few weeks.

  • Dying Light: The Beast – Techland’s next big open-world zombie title, launching September 19.

  • Honeycomb: The World Beyond – A 2025 sci-fi survival sandbox game.

  • Lost Soul Aside – A highly anticipated action RPG that started as a one-man project, releasing in the next ten days.

  • The Outer Worlds 2 – Obsidian’s sci-fi RPG sequel, coming October 28.

  • Phantom Blade Zero – Stylish action RPG from S-GAME, release window still unannounced.

  • PRAGMATA – Capcom’s mysterious sci-fi adventure, targeting a 2026 release.

In addition, Borderlands 4 (Gearbox, launching September 12) and the free-to-play Fate Trigger (Saroasis Studios) will support DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, delivering significant performance boosts on GeForce RTX 50 GPUs.

The Future of PC Graphics

Matt Wuebbling, Vice President of Global GeForce Marketing at NVIDIA, emphasized the shift in industry adoption:

“DLSS 4 and path tracing are no longer cutting-edge graphical experiments — they’re the foundation of modern PC gaming titles. Developers are embracing AI-powered rendering to unlock stunning visuals and massive performance gains, enabling gamers everywhere to experience the future of real-time graphics today.”

With DLSS 4 rapidly becoming a baseline expectation rather than an experimental feature, it’s clear that NVIDIA is pushing to make AI-enhanced rendering the industry standard for next-generation PC games.
