Ninja Gaiden 4, Keeper, Pax Dei, and More Added to Xbox Game Pass This October

Xbox has revealed the latest lineup of games joining Xbox Game Pass for October 2025, marking the first batch of titles released under the newly adjusted pricing structure that raised subscription costs by approximately 50%. The update was detailed in a new Xbox Wire post, outlining the twelve new games arriving this month along with three titles that will be leaving the service.

Among the highlights is Ninja Gaiden 4, the first new entry in the legendary action series in years, launching directly into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for subscribers at the top tier. The title promises to bring back the fast-paced, skill-driven combat fans have missed, with modern visuals and refined mechanics for next-generation consoles.

Another major addition is Keeper, a new project from Double Fine Productions, launching into Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 17. The game has been described as a mysterious adventure featuring narrative depth and creative gameplay, continuing Double Fine’s tradition of offbeat and emotionally driven storytelling.

Also joining day one is Ball x Pit, an innovative indie title that mixes platforming and physics puzzles, launching October 15.

Beyond the day-one launches, several notable titles are making their return or debut on the platform this month, including Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, Evil West, Pax Dei, Eternal Strands, and a Game Preview version of He Is Coming, an RPG-style auto-battler that blends survival and narrative progression.

Below is the full list of games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month, along with their release dates, supported platforms, and tier availability:

As always, new arrivals mean some titles must exit the rotation. On October 15, subscribers will see the removal of Cocoon, Core Keeper, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed from the service.

This month’s lineup provides a strong balance of AAA action, creative indies, and nostalgic classics, despite the subscription price increase. With Ninja Gaiden 4 and Keeper headlining the arrivals, October looks to deliver something for nearly every type of player.
