Fallout Day 2025 Broadcast Announced for October 23

Bethesda Game Studios has officially confirmed that the Fallout Day 2025 broadcast will take place on October 23, 2025, at 1 PM Eastern Time, and will be streamed live on YouTube, Twitch, and Steam. The studio announced that fans can expect new information and announcements about existing Fallout games, as well as community celebrations and upcoming fan events.

October 23 is not just a random date in the Fallout universe. It marks the day when the two-hour nuclear exchange between the United States and China took place, an event that set the stage for the series’ post-apocalyptic world.

When Bethesda refers to “existing Fallout games,” most fans immediately think of Fallout 76, which remains the only title in the franchise that continues to receive regular updates. Recently, the game received a major reveal with the deep dive into the Burning Springs update, and Bethesda has already announced a large-scale land expansion set to arrive in December, introducing Ohio as a brand-new region in the Fallout universe.

This upcoming Ohio region draws strong inspiration from Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, with a design that recaptures the grim and desolate atmosphere of earlier entries. Bethesda’s goal is to deliver a more classic wasteland experience, filled with danger, lore, and exploration opportunities.

Additionally, Bethesda will be introducing The Ghoul, portrayed by Walton Goggins from the Fallout TV series, as a new in-game character. This addition will bring the bounty hunting system, a new gameplay feature that includes tiered contracts such as grunt hunts and head hunts. The system is designed to encourage replayability and teamwork, with randomized contract locations and public event-style missions that promote community interaction. It also aims to provide a continuous source of rewards for players seeking challenging yet engaging activities.

While Fallout 76 has already received its major reveal, the Fallout Day 2025 broadcast may still include new details or additional gameplay insights about the Burning Springs update. However, the community is already buzzing with speculation about what else Bethesda might announce. Many fans are hoping for confirmation of the long-rumored Fallout 3 remaster, which would fit neatly under the “existing Fallout games” category. Others are half-jokingly predicting another Fallout 4 re-release on a new platform, given Bethesda’s history of keeping its titles alive across generations.

No matter what surprises await, Fallout Day 2025 is shaping up to be a major celebration for fans of the series, uniting the community in anticipation of what’s next for the wasteland.
