NetEase Debuts Marvel Rivals New K’un-Lun: Heart of Heaven Map Arriving This Week
NetEase has revealed that a brand-new convergence mode map, K’un-Lun: Heart of Heaven, will arrive in Marvel Rivals on September 25, 2025. Alongside the new map, the Summer Special Vol. 2 event is now live, giving players the opportunity to earn free cosmetics until October 17, 2025.
This latest update follows the launch of Marvel Rivals Season 4 earlier this month on September 12, which introduced the hero Angela to the roster. Season 4 was also particularly notable because it marked the game’s arrival on PlayStation 4, expanding its availability beyond PC.
The map reveal trailer highlights the breathtaking scenery and ornate hallways of K’un-Lun, which will soon become the stage for intense battles. While players will need hands-on time to truly learn its layout, the trailer gives a strong impression of the effort NetEase has put into the visual design.
In addition to the map, new character cosmetics for Hela will also launch on Thursday. Players can catch a glimpse of these new skins in the clip shared by NetEase on X (formerly Twitter).

NetEase has also been engaging with the community through a new video series titled Technically Speaking. In its first episode, Technical Director Fanfan addressed player concerns regarding performance issues, explaining how the studio is working to resolve them. He also recommended that PC players run a standard performance test to determine optimal graphical settings for smoother gameplay. While tweaking settings won’t solve every issue, it remains the best first step toward achieving a stable experience.
With the introduction of K’un-Lun: Heart of Heaven, NetEase continues to build momentum for Marvel Rivals as it expands its content offerings across platforms.
