Maxsun Joins Hands With Abee to Bring Its W790 Motherboard and 4x Arc Pro B60 48G Turbo GPU Workstation

Chinese hardware manufacturer Maxsun has unveiled its most powerful AI workstation PC to date, built around its flagship W790 motherboard and designed in collaboration with Japanese case maker Abee. This powerhouse system is tailored for AI, 3D rendering, and data-heavy applications,  featuring a configuration capable of hosting up to four Intel Arc Pro B60 48G Turbo GPUs, delivering an impressive 192 GB of total VRAM.

Maxsun’s W790 motherboard is a workstation-grade platform offering seven PCIe x16 slots, enabling users to install multiple GPUs for maximum computational scalability. Each Intel Arc Pro B60 48G Turbo card houses two BMG-G21 GPUs and 48 GB of memory, doubling the capacity of the standard Arc Pro B60. When four are installed, the system achieves exceptional performance potential,  ideal for enterprises and AI professionals demanding robust multitasking and model training capabilities.

To efficiently house and cool this high-powered setup, Maxsun partnered with Abee, known for its premium case designs, to use the Abee Designer C700W tower chassis. This case features a reverse-mounted motherboard layout, optimizing airflow and thermal dissipation for GPU-intensive systems. The C700W accommodates massive workstation components such as the X12DPG-QT6 form factor, supports multiple 3.5” and 2.5” storage bays, and provides up to 17 fan slots for superior air circulation, a design that combines functionality with engineering precision.

While Maxsun has not disclosed pricing or availability details for this workstation, the cost is expected to be significant. A single Arc Pro B60 48G Turbo GPU is priced around $1,200 USD, meaning a four-GPU configuration would already reach nearly $4,800 USD just for the graphics components. Still, even at that price, the workstation offers a uniquely high VRAM configuration that can outperform or undercut other professional solutions from AMD and NVIDIA in terms of memory capacity per dollar.

Maxsun’s announcement marks another step forward for China’s growing presence in the high-performance computing sector, as local manufacturers continue to develop solutions competitive with global brands.

What do you think of Maxsun’s bold move into the AI workstation market? Would you consider building an AI system with Intel’s Arc Pro GPUs?
