Lian Li Unveils LANCOOL 207 "Refresh" Chassis Featuring Versatile Front LCD display

Lian Li, the renowned PC case manufacturer, has introduced a refreshed edition of its popular LANCOOL 207 chassis, adding significant functionality with a built-in 6-inch LCD display on its front panel. Dubbed the LANCOOL 207 Refresh, this updated version retains the original design while incorporating advanced capabilities designed to enhance user experience and personalization.

The highlight of the refresh is the integrated 6-inch LCD panel positioned at the bottom of the front panel. This display features a sharp 720x1600 resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits, ensuring clear visibility and vivid visuals. Beyond displaying essential hardware metrics such as CPU and GPU temperatures, users can customize the screen to showcase personal content, images, or even utilize it as a secondary monitor through a USB connection. While the panel is ideal for troubleshooting and real-time monitoring, it is not intended as a standalone replacement for standard monitors.

Additionally, the LANCOOL 207 Refresh's LCD panel is versatile enough to operate even when the system is powered off, providing users with useful information like date and time at a glance, further enhancing the practicality of the chassis for daily use.

Internally, the LANCOOL 207 maintains its spacious layout, offset motherboard tray for improved GPU and cooler clearance, and a unique front-oriented PSU shroud to facilitate superior cable management and airflow. The chassis includes pre-installed fans located at both the front and the PSU shroud, ensuring efficient cooling and unobstructed ventilation paths.

For cooling enthusiasts, the chassis provides sufficient space at the top for a 360mm radiator and additional ventilation slots at the rear for improved exhaust airflow, making it suitable for performance-oriented gaming and productivity builds.

While the original LANCOOL 207 chassis is available in both black and white variants, the LANCOOL 207 Refresh currently launches exclusively in black, priced at $109.99.

The chassis is available now for pre-order at several online retailers, including Newegg, Overclockers UK, and Caseking. Shipping will begin on April 23 at Overclockers UK and Caseking, and on April 29 at Newegg.
