Lian Li Launches Vector V100 Mini at $49 Bringing Compact Design Without Major Compromises
Lian Li has officially expanded its Vector lineup with the introduction of the Vector V100 Mini, a downsized tower that preserves the core design philosophy of the original V100 while significantly reducing both footprint and price. Positioned firmly in the budget segment, the new case enters the market at $49 while retaining the airflow focused layout that defined the larger model earlier this year.
The original Vector V100 mid tower debuted in June 2025 and introduced a slanted PSU shroud designed to channel airflow directly toward the graphics card. That same angled shroud remains intact on the Mini variant, reinforcing Lian Li’s emphasis on thermal efficiency even at an entry level price point. Structurally and visually, the V100 Mini closely mirrors its bigger sibling, with differences primarily tied to size and motherboard compatibility.
Compact M ATX Focus With Modern Motherboard Support
The Vector V100 Mini is designed as an M ATX tower and does not support standard ATX or E ATX motherboards. Instead, it targets ITX and M ATX systems, including support for M ATX motherboards with rear mounted connectors. This reflects the industry shift toward cleaner cable management and next generation motherboard layouts, a feature previously available on the full size V100 for ATX boards.
Despite its smaller footprint, internal compatibility remains generous. The case supports graphics cards up to 415 mm in length and includes a dedicated GPU support bracket. CPU air cooler clearance reaches up to 163.55 mm, while ATX power supplies up to 200 mm in length are supported. While these values are slightly lower than those of the Vector V100 mid tower, they remain more than sufficient for high performance gaming and productivity builds.
Panoramic Glass Design And Cooling Support
The Vector V100 Mini retains Lian Li’s signature 270° panoramic visibility through its pillar less design, combining dual tempered glass panels for a seamless corner appearance. This ensures the Mini maintains a premium aesthetic despite its aggressive pricing.
Overall dimensions measure 436 x 221.5 x 443.9 mm, making the case notably shorter than the original V100, particularly in height. Cooling support remains largely identical to the larger model, with extensive fan and AIO radiator compatibility. The only limitation appears at the rear, where the V100 Mini supports a 120 mm fan instead of a 140 mm unit. Front I O connectivity matches the mid tower, featuring 2x USB 3.0 ports, 1x USB 3.1 Type C, 1x 3.5 mm audio jack, 1x power button, and 1x reset button. Day to day usability remains unchanged despite the reduced size.
Pricing is where the Vector V100 Mini makes its strongest impact. The case launches at $6 less than the original V100, placing it squarely in the budget category while retaining premium design elements. The Vector V100 Mini will be available starting December 19.
| Model | United States | Other Regions | Europe |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vector V100 Mini Black | $49.99 | $44.99 | €49.90 |
| Vector V100R Mini Black | $64.99 | $59.99 | €64.90 |
By combining a compact footprint, airflow optimized PSU shroud, panoramic glass design, and modern motherboard support at an aggressive price, Lian Li positions the Vector V100 Mini as a compelling option for budget conscious builders who still value aesthetics and thermal performance.
