Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Legacy of the Forge DLC Launches with Update 1.4

Warhorse Studios has released the latest expansion for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, titled Legacy of the Forge, available now across all platforms. The DLC arrives alongside Update 1.4, which introduces balancing adjustments, quality-of-life changes, and bug fixes to further refine the medieval RPG.

Legacy of the Forge – A New Path for Henry

The new story content sees protagonist Henry join the Kuttenberg Blacksmith Guild, following the path of his adoptive father, Martin. The DLC’s central quest revolves around Henry’s attempt to finish what Martin could not: repairing the town’s broken astronomical clock.

To accomplish this, Henry must reunite Martin’s old colleagues, rebuilding both the forge and his father’s legacy. Players will gain access to a new forge home base, which can be customized extensively. Nearly every part of the workshop and living quarters can be decorated, expanded, and built out to suit the player’s taste, turning the forge into both a crafting hub and a personal sanctuary.

The DLC adds at least 15 hours of new gameplay, offering fresh quests, character interactions, and customization systems for players who have already exhausted the base game’s content.

Update 1.4 Highlights

Launched in tandem with the expansion, Update 1.4 provides important balance and durability tweaks, along with stability improvements. Key changes include:

  • Halberds are now twice as durable, improving their long-term utility in combat.

  • The Trollbane hammer has received an upgrade in overall quality.

  • Additional quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes have been deployed across systems.

Availability and Pricing

Players who purchased the Gold Edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 or the Expansion Pass will gain automatic access to Legacy of the Forge. Others can purchase the DLC separately for £11.49.

With its blend of expanded narrative content, deep customization, and meaningful mechanical improvements, Legacy of the Forge solidifies itself as one of the most substantial post-launch additions to the series to date.

Will you be diving back into Kuttenberg to forge Henry’s legacy, or waiting for the full expansion lineup before returning?
