Zombie FPS The Midnight Walkers Arrives in Early Access This November, Demo Coming to October Steam Next Fest

Developer Oneway Ticket Studio has revealed a new cinematic trailer for its upcoming zombie first-person shooter and melee action game, The Midnight Walkers, confirming that the game will launch into early access on PC on November 21, 2025.

The trailer is mostly cinematic but does provide a few glimpses of gameplay, giving players an idea of the tone and atmosphere. If what you see catches your interest, there will be an opportunity to try the game ahead of release. A playable demo of The Midnight Walkers will be available during the upcoming October Steam Next Fest, which runs from October 13 to 20.

The Midnight Walkers is designed as a PvPvE zombie action game, playable either solo or with others. Players won’t only have to fight against waves of zombies but also go up against rival teams of survivors. Matches take place in the Liberty Grand Center (LGC), where a creeping poison gas gradually closes in, forcing players and enemy teams into increasingly tighter quarters until only the strongest survive.

Players will be able to choose from four distinct classes to suit their playstyle:

  • Brick, a heavy bruiser class built for tanking damage.

  • Crow, a fast and agile fighter for close encounters.

  • Lockdown, a long-range sniper with precision capabilities.

  • Bartender, a support class designed to keep the team alive.

Effective use of each class’s strengths will be essential for surviving both the undead hordes and hostile player teams.

Zombie shooters remain a crowded genre, with titles like Killing Floor 3 and Dying Light: The Beast already making waves this year. But The Midnight Walkers looks set to carve out its own identity with its mix of team-based PvP combat and survival horror atmosphere, offering players another chance to dive into the chaos of the undead when it arrives this November.

Do you think The Midnight Walkers has what it takes to stand out in the crowded zombie genre, or will it struggle to rise above established favorites?
