Bethesda Unveils Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, Includes All DLC and Over 150 Creation Club Items
As part of its annual Fallout Day celebration, Bethesda Softworks has officially announced Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, the new definitive version of the acclaimed post-apocalyptic RPG. The special edition launches on November 10, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, marking the tenth anniversary of the game’s original 2015 release.
The Anniversary Edition includes all six official DLC expansions (Automatron, Wasteland Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, Vault-Tec Workshop, Nuka-World, and Far Harbor), along with over 150 Creation Club items, bringing together years of additional content in a single comprehensive package. Bethesda also confirmed that the edition will introduce an in-game Creations menu, giving players an integrated way to browse, download, and manage mods and community creations alongside the included content.
Players who already own Fallout 4 or access it through PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass will be able to upgrade to the Anniversary Edition, though Bethesda has yet to detail the pricing or structure for these upgrade paths.
This new version also comes with the next-gen graphical and performance upgrades released in April 2024, which improved lighting, frame rates, and resolution on modern consoles. The Anniversary Edition will replace the Game of the Year Edition as the definitive all-in-one version of Fallout 4 going forward.
The announcement comes amid a series of celebratory reveals for the Fallout franchise. A physical anniversary bundle for Fallout: New Vegas has been announced, while Fallout 76 is preparing to expand into Ohio with a new DLC arriving on December 2, coinciding with the launch of Season 2 of Amazon’s Fallout TV adaptation.
To complement the festivities, Bethesda has also discounted all Fallout titles across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, offering newcomers the perfect opportunity to experience the series’ rich post-nuclear world.
While Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is a welcome celebration of one of Bethesda’s most successful games, it also serves as a stark reminder that Fallout 5 remains far on the horizon. Bethesda Game Studios is currently focused on The Elder Scrolls VI, meaning Fallout 5 may not enter full development for several more years.
By the time the next chapter arrives, it will likely be on next-generation hardware, raising the stakes for how Bethesda will evolve the beloved series after more than a decade of anticipation.
Will you be revisiting the Wasteland with the Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, or are you waiting for the long-overdue Fallout 5?
