ASUS ROG Launches Strix OLED XG32U Series, the World’s First 4K WOLED Monitors with TrueBlack Glossy Film

ASUS Republic of Gamers has officially announced the availability of the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG, introducing the world’s first 4K WOLED gaming monitors equipped with TrueBlack Glossy film. This advanced anti-reflective panel coating reduces ambient reflections by 38 percent compared to previous-generation glossy WOLED panels, delivering exceptionally deep blacks even in brightly lit environments while helping to reduce eye strain during extended sessions.

Both models feature a Dual-Mode function that allows users to switch between full 4K resolution for immersive visuals or a competitive esports-ready FHD mode. In FHD mode, the XG32UCWMG achieves an astounding 480 Hz refresh rate while the XG32UCWG reaches 330 Hz. Combined with Extreme Low Motion Blur and OLED Anti-Flicker technologies, these displays ensure smooth, clear motion while maintaining visual comfort. Built-in Aspect-Ratio Control also enables optimized 24-inch and 27-inch display windows for competitive FPS gaming.

To safeguard OLED panel longevity, ASUS has integrated the OLED Care Pro suite, which uses pixel refresh cycles, image shifting, and automatic logo brightness limitation to minimize burn-in risks. The new Neo Proximity sensor detects when the user moves away from the monitor, automatically dimming the display to protect the panel and waking it instantly upon return. Detection distance can be customized via the on-screen display. Every unit in the series is backed by a three-year burn-in warranty for additional peace of mind.

The XG32U series features an ultracompact stand that reduces the footprint by 45 percent compared to previous ROG OLED bases, freeing up valuable desk space while offering full tilt, swivel, and height adjustments. The DisplayWidget Center software allows users to quickly change picture modes, manage Auto KVM, and install firmware updates. The integrated Auto KVM function enables seamless switching between two connected systems with a single keyboard and mouse.

Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), USB-C with 15 W power delivery, and a headphone jack, making the monitors versatile for both high-performance gaming and professional workflows.
