Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Valley of Memory Free DLC Revealed, Arrives November 2025
Ubisoft has officially announced the long-awaited free DLC for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, titled Valley of Memory, which will be released on November 18, 2025, across all platforms. The update marks a major expansion for the game, introducing a brand-new region, storyline, and several gameplay improvements that fans have been requesting since launch.
The Valley of Memory DLC adds AlUla, a breathtaking new region set along the historic Incense Road during the Golden Age of the Abbasid Empire. Ubisoft collaborated closely with archaeologists and historians to ensure an authentic recreation of AlUla, allowing players to experience this vibrant 9th-century trade hub at its cultural peak.
The DLC expands Basim’s coming-of-age story, focusing on his search for his father, adding emotional depth to his journey. Alongside the main storyline, players can expect new contracts, side quests, and a new Robber faction that brings fresh dynamics to combat and stealth encounters.
Ubisoft has also enhanced gameplay in several key areas. Players will now be able to replay missions freely, a long-requested feature by the community. In addition, there’s a new tier of tool upgrades, improved parkour mechanics (including the ability to manually jump), and refinements to AlUla’s northern regions, featuring rugged rocky terrains that contrast with Baghdad’s dense urban landscapes.
Interestingly, when Assassin’s Creed Mirage first launched, no DLC content was originally planned. However, the strong reception from fans and Ubisoft’s partnership with Savvy Games Group, a gaming investment company founded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) helped bring Valley of Memory to life. The PIF, notably, is also one of the major investors involved in the acquisition of Electronic Arts (EA), pushing to make the publisher private.
With historical authenticity, emotional storytelling, and exciting gameplay updates, Valley of Memory promises to be one of the most significant post-launch expansions in Assassin’s Creed’s modern history.
What are your thoughts on returning to Basim’s story in this new historical setting? Will you explore AlUla when the DLC arrives this November?
