Antec Unveils C6 Curve Air With Curved Front Glass, Three Sided Panoramic Design, and 450mm GPU Clearance
Antec has officially introduced the new C6 Curve Air, a mid tower chassis built around a more dramatic panoramic layout that pushes beyond the usual dual glass showcase formula. The case uses a curved front tempered glass panel alongside additional glass panels to create a seamless three sided display, giving enthusiast builds a much more open visual presentation from the front and side angles. According to Antec, the design is meant to deliver a wide panoramic view while still maintaining airflow through a bottom to top cooling layout.
What makes the C6 Curve Air stand out is that Antec did not simply chase aesthetics and ignore practicality. The company says the case supports up to 6 fans, includes 2 pre installed 120mm PWM reverse fans on the PSU shroud and 1 rear 140mm PWM fan, and uses extensive ventilation across the front, left, right, and bottom areas to feed the vertical airflow path. That is an important design choice because the curved glass front naturally limits the kind of direct front intake seen in more traditional mesh first chassis, so Antec has instead leaned into bottom intake optimization and broader lower chamber ventilation.
For hardware support, the C6 Curve Air is clearly aimed at serious gaming and creator class systems. Antec lists support for graphics cards up to 450mm in length and CPU air coolers up to 180mm in height, which gives the case enough room for many of the largest flagship GPUs currently on the market. The chassis also supports ATX, Micro ATX, and ITX motherboards, including back connect layouts such as ASUS BTF and MSI Project Zero style boards, which should appeal to builders who want cleaner cable presentation through the glass.
Cooling flexibility is solid even if it is not completely unrestricted. Antec says the case supports up to a 360mm radiator on the top and a 120mm radiator at the rear. The PSU shroud supports 2 x 120mm bottom mounted fans, but it is being positioned more as an airflow foundation than as a radiator zone. The case also includes a fine mesh top panel, pull out bottom dust filter, and lower front dust filter, which should help keep the interior cleaner in long term use.
Antec has also paid attention to build friendliness. The company highlights tool free panel removal, dual orientation PSU installation with a 90 degree rotatable PSU module, up to 30mm of cable routing space behind the motherboard tray, and a set of rubber grommets, cable clips, and Velcro straps for neater management. Combined with the floating GPU area and the cleaner front facing presentation enabled by back connect motherboards, the C6 Curve Air looks designed to appeal as much to showcase builders as to users chasing airflow and component compatibility.
In terms of physical footprint, the C6 Curve Air measures 480 x 235 x 470mm and weighs 9.12kg. Antec is offering the series in black, RGB black, and white versions, giving the case a broader audience across different build themes. For builders who want a modern glass heavy chassis but still need room for oversized graphics cards and cleaner rear cable routing, this looks like one of Antec’s more visually distinctive releases in the current case market.
