Xbox Game Pass Adds Hollow Knight: Silksong and I Am Your Beast This Week

Xbox Game Pass is kicking off September 2025 with a strong wave of new titles, headlined by two standout indie games. According to Xbox News, both Hollow Knight: Silksong and I Am Your Beast are joining the subscription service this week, overshadowing the rest of the lineup despite their indie status.

One of the most highly anticipated indie games of the past decade, Hollow Knight: Silksong will be available on September 4 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Cloud via Game Pass. The sequel, priced at $19.99 outside of the subscription, follows the model of its predecessor, which has remained at $14.99 since its launch in 2017.

Its arrival on Game Pass ensures a broader audience can experience Team Cherry’s expanded world without upfront cost, a significant addition given the title’s monumental hype.

Launching just ahead of Silksong, I Am Your Beast by Strange Scaffold arrived on September 2 for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud. The fast-paced first-person parkour-shooter tasks players with racing through levels, eliminating enemies with precision while aiming for the fastest completion times.

Strange Scaffold, the studio behind El Paso, Elsewhere, currently being adapted into a feature film starring Lakeith Stanfield has once again delivered a stylish, mechanically sharp indie title that has drawn praise since its 2024 release.

While Silksong and I Am Your Beast are stealing the spotlight, Xbox Game Pass is also adding several other titles across genres:
