SEGA has officially announced that Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage will launch on October 30, 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, bringing a revamped version of the classic fighting game to the modern generation. The new release includes cross-play functionality, rollback netcode for smoother online matches, and enhanced features that make it the most complete version of Virtua Fighter to date.

In preparation for launch, SEGA has also opened closed beta registrations for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam users. Interested players can sign up through the official SEGA portal. Participants in the beta will receive an exclusive in-game title as a reward.
