Terminator 2D: No Fate Has Been Delayed Once Again, Now Launching on December 12, 2025

Terminator 2D: No Fate, the upcoming 2D action-platformer inspired by the iconic Terminator franchise, has once again faced a delay. Developed by Bitmap Bureau Ltd. and published by Reef Entertainment, the title has now been officially rescheduled for release on December 12, 2025, marking its third postponement this year.

Originally slated for a September 5, 2025 release, the game was subsequently pushed to October, then to November 26, before finally being delayed to its new December date. Despite the repeated shifts, Reef Entertainment assured fans that the game will still launch before the year ends, across both physical and digital platforms on PC and consoles.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Reef Entertainment expressed gratitude for players’ ongoing patience and understanding:

“We know you’ve waited longer than expected for the release of Terminator 2D: No Fate, and we truly appreciate your patience and support throughout this journey.”

The delay stems not from development issues but from logistical challenges surrounding the physical editions. The publisher clarified that previous setbacks were due to tariff and trade complications affecting production components. With those resolved, the remaining step is assembling the physical editions, which requires additional time.

“The physical components for all editions have now finally arrived. However, we need more time to assemble the physical copies. Because of this, we’re moving the launch date to December 12, 2025, for all versions,” Reef stated.

Reef also reiterated its commitment to delivering a polished, unified launch experience across all formats:

“We don’t take your patience for granted and never want to disappoint our community. Our goal has always been to deliver the game you deserve, and we’re almost there.”

While delays can be frustrating, this one highlights the publisher’s dedication to ensuring both physical and digital players enjoy the same day-one experience. Fans can take some comfort in knowing the release remains within 2025, with the promise of an authentic retro-action Terminator experience still intact.

As fans await No Fate, they can also look forward to Terminator: Survivors, which is still targeting a 2025 release window but has yet to receive a confirmed date since its initial announcement in August 2024.
