Survios Debuts New Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition Launch Trailer
Survios has officially unveiled the launch trailer for Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition, confirming the game’s arrival on Xbox Series X/S alongside PC and PlayStation 5. This updated edition marks the series’ full transition from a VR-exclusive title to a wider console and PC audience.
Originally released in late 2024 for PlayStation VR2 and PCVR, and later arriving on Meta Quest in February 2025, Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One now makes the leap beyond headsets. The Evolved Edition will launch on all three platforms on September 30, 2025, offering fans the chance to experience the terrifying Alien universe in a more traditional format.
The new trailer highlights enhanced gameplay sequences, atmosphere-driven horror, and showcases how the Evolved Edition adapts the tense survival experience from VR to flat-screen platforms. The announcement also emphasizes the inclusion of Xbox Series X/S, expanding the game’s reach to the full spectrum of current-gen hardware.
As this release approaches, it also marks nearly one year since Part One first debuted. Notably, players weren’t initially aware that the title was part of a two-part story. Survios revealed this only at launch, confirming that Alien: Rogue Incursion was always envisioned as a dual-chapter narrative.
While Part Two remains without updates, fans are hopeful that future entries will launch simultaneously across both VR and flat-screen platforms to avoid staggered releases and multiple versions. For now, the Evolved Edition gives players new ways to revisit the chilling corridors of Alien’s universe.
