SUPERVIVE Officially Launches on Steam With Massive 1.0 Overhaul, Introducing Progression System, New Hunter, Vehicles, and Armory
Theorycraft Games, in partnership with publisher NetEase Games, has officially launched its free-to-play MOBA SUPERVIVE on Steam with the release of its highly anticipated 1.0 update. The update marks a significant milestone in the game’s development, with the developers stating in a new official blog post that “almost everything has changed.” The 1.0 release brings with it a wide range of new content, gameplay refinements, and a robust progression system aimed at deepening player engagement and long-term replayability.
Massive Overhaul: Introducing the Armory and Progression Systems
The most substantial addition in the 1.0 update is the introduction of the Armory, a progression-based gear system that enables players to collect and equip various items that meaningfully influence playstyle. As explained by Theorycraft, the Armory provides a flexible system for creating diverse builds, tailored to players’ personal strategies and preferred Hunter roles.
The Armory system operates on four core pillars:
Collecting Armory Items across gameplay sessions.
Purchasing Gear with Coin, an in-game currency earned during matches.
Earning Prisma by performing well in matches.
Spending Prisma to unlock new items and expand your Armory.

There are currently over 100 different items available in the Armory, all of which reset at the end of each season to maintain a fresh and dynamic meta. The studio’s aim is to make this progression meaningful, yet accessible, and ensure that competitive and casual players alike have the tools to experiment and evolve.
Expanded World, Enhanced Mobility, and New Hunter: Wukong
Set within The Breach, SUPERVIVE’s ever-expanding battleground, the game world now features new traversal options to enhance verticality and strategic mobility. Players can now explore with upgraded gliders and the newly introduced Skyshark, an aerial vehicle offering faster travel and improved navigation across the map.
Alongside environmental upgrades, a new playable Hunter enters the arena: Wukong. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Monkey King, Wukong boasts a unique passive ability that allows him to hide in trees, creating tactical ambush opportunities while recharging his glider for the next attack. His introduction adds depth to team compositions and expands SUPERVIVE’s roster of distinctive characters.
From Beta to Breakout Title
SUPERVIVE initially entered Open Beta in November 2024 and quickly attracted a growing player base, thanks to its fast-paced gameplay and blend of PvP combat, aerial movement, and strategic teamplay. Thousands of players have left positive reviews on Steam, praising the game’s polish and competitive depth. With the launch of version 1.0, Theorycraft Games hopes to capitalize on this momentum and establish SUPERVIVE as a mainstay in the MOBA and hero-based shooter genres.
As the free-to-play space continues to evolve, the developers have assured players that they are committed to post-launch support and seasonal content updates. The launch of the 1.0 version signals a new era for SUPERVIVE, one built on feedback, experimentation, and community-driven growth.
Will SUPERVIVE stand the test of time in a saturated market of online multiplayer games, or will it fade like so many other free-to-play titles? Only time will tell, but with this ambitious update, Theorycraft has made a bold statement about its long-term ambitions.
