Stellar Blade Patch 1.3.0 Enhances Photo Mode, Resolves Cutscene Bugs and more

Shift Up has released the 1.3.0 update for the PC version of Stellar Blade, bringing targeted improvements to Photo Mode, cutscenes, voice acting, and AMD FSR functionality, further refining the game’s post-launch performance on Windows systems. Although the update doesn't include major new features, it continues to polish the acclaimed port following its successful release on PC earlier this year.

The update introduces a Photo Mode refinement, now displaying a logo control indicator when players are selecting logos for image captures an especially welcome addition for content creators and screenshot enthusiasts. It also includes fixes for a number of known issues, notably:

  • A bug preventing players from exiting the shop after purchasing Polarized Sunglasses from Clyde.

  • An issue where Eve's hair failed to appear in the final Elder Naytibe cutscene when she was wearing either the Fluffy Bear or Pink Bear outfits.

  • Korean voice acting desynchronization during a conversation with Clyde in the Great Desert.

The patch also modifies the way AMD FSR Frame Generation works. Going forward, players will need to restart the game to activate frame generation features. This is likely to ensure better stability and correct application of the setting. Additionally, the save timestamp system has been updated to reflect the time since the last successful save, rather than including failed or interrupted save attempts an important quality-of-life change for players tracking game progress or preparing for boss encounters.

Stellar Blade made its PC debut in June 2025, one year after launching on PlayStation 5, and was met with generally positive reviews for its performance, scalability, and visual fidelity across a range of hardware. The title has continued to receive regular patches since its PC release, with Patch 1.2.0 notably introducing Hard Mode unlocks without requiring a first playthrough, alongside numerous tweaks.
