Split Fiction PC Requirements Revealed, Steam Deck Verified on Launch

Hazelight Studios has unveiled the PC system requirements for Split Fiction, confirming that the game is not only optimized for powerful gaming rigs but also fully Steam Deck Verified and natively supported on Steam. The detailed announcement was posted on Steam’s events tab, where Hazelight highlighted the game's impressive compatibility and performance even at its minimum specifications.

In addition to confirming the reasonable minimum and recommended PC requirements, Hazelight Studios reaffirmed that Split Fiction will support ultrawide resolutions, specifically 21:9 and 32:9, right from launch. This update comes on the heels of previous posts where cross-play and the ever-popular Friend’s Pass feature were also confirmed to be available in the game.

“We have worked tirelessly to ensure the game will be optimized on launch, completing hours and hours of performance and compatibility testing with the goal of making sure that the game will run as smoothly as possible, even on PC’s configured at the game’s listed minimum system requirements,”

stated Hazelight Studios.

Beyond raw performance, Hazelight Studios has also detailed a suite of accessibility options designed to make Split Fiction as inclusive as possible. These options include:
Subtitles with optional backgrounds, Closed captioning, Skippable checkpoints for challenging sections, Toggleable simplified input prompts in place of traditional button mash or analogue stick actions, Adjustable damage modifiers to lessen enemy infliction, A persistent aim dot, The ability to swap left and right analogue stick functions, Remappable input controls for customized configurations, Adjustable camera sensitivity and more.
