Project Motor Racing Will Speed Onto Xbox Series X/S, PS5 And PC In Fall 2025
Straight4 Studios has officially announced that Project Motor Racing, its highly anticipated sim racing title, will launch in Fall 2025 across Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Built using GIANTS Software’s proprietary GIANTS engine, the title is expected to deliver an authentic and technically advanced experience targeted squarely at hardcore sim racers. At release, the game will offer over 70 meticulously modeled vehicles across 10 distinct racing classes and 27 detailed track layouts. A new gameplay trailer unveiled today—featuring a cameo by racing legend Derek Bell using a full simulator setup—gave fans a glimpse at the level of realism and immersion they can expect.
Beyond its vehicle variety and track diversity, Project Motor Racing will support both a single-player career mode and a comprehensive online multiplayer suite. The latter includes full race weekends and global leaderboards, underscoring the developers’ commitment to realism and competition. Notably, the title is being developed on the GIANTS engine—best known for powering Farming Simulator—marking a bold new direction for publisher Giants Software.
“This is the next gear for GIANTS Software: Moving forward, we will be recognized not only as the creators of Farming Simulator but also as the publisher of Project Motor Racing,” said Christian Ammann, CEO of Giants Software. Straight4 Studios' CEO Ian Bell added,
“This is not about driving. It’s about racing. With our streamlined approach and what we consider to be the most authentic handling model we’ve ever created, Project Motor Racing is both a nod to our genre’s rich legacy and a big step into the next era of simulation.”
The title aims to blend technical precision with exhilarating competition, setting its sights on becoming the next must-have experience for racing sim veterans and newcomers alike. Are you exited to try the new Project Motor Racing? let us know in the comments!
