PELADN Launches YO1 Mini PC, Featuring 16-Core Ryzen AI Max+ 395 CPU and 128 GB System Memory in a Compact Chassis

Chinese manufacturer PELADN has officially launched its most powerful mini PC to date, the YO1, leveraging AMD’s cutting-edge Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor to deliver outstanding performance in an ultra-compact design

The PELADN YO1 Mini PC marks a significant leap forward for the company’s lineup, which until now had been limited to models powered by Ryzen 8845HS or Intel Core Ultra 7 155H CPUs. Bypassing the expected Strix Point, Krackan Point, or Lunar Lake updates, PELADN has gone straight to integrating AMD’s flagship Zen 5-based Ryzen AI Max+ 395, featuring 16 cores and 32 threads alongside the powerful Radeon 8060S integrated GPU.

Designed primarily for AI-focused workloads, the YO1 offers up to 128 GB of system memory, a configuration that, while potentially overkill for standard users, ensures unmatched future-proofing and superior capabilities for compute-intensive tasks. As AI hardware continues to trend toward demanding greater system memory and performance, PELADN positions the YO1 as an ideal solution for professionals needing a compact yet highly capable workstation.

Although gaming is not the main focus, the Radeon 8060S iGPU can handle modern titles at competitive mid-range settings, making the YO1 a rare hybrid: a portable powerhouse capable of both serious number-crunching and recreational gaming. With its small form factor, it becomes one of the most powerful mini PCs you can easily transport in a backpack, offering significant energy efficiency compared to larger desktop systems.

While full specifications have not yet been disclosed, images of the device suggest modern connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB4 Type-C ports. The chassis design also represents a fresh approach from PELADN, showcasing a sleek, compact form that has not been used in any of their previous mini PC models.

Pricing information remains under wraps, but considering that Strix Halo systems featuring the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 have been retailing close to $2,000, it is expected that the YO1 will similarly command a premium price.

With the YO1, PELADN enters the upper echelon of mini PC manufacturing, catering to users who demand serious portable performance for AI applications, professional workloads, and occasional gaming — all without the bulk of traditional desktops.

What do you think about the rise of ultra-powerful mini PCs like the PELADN YO1? Would you invest in a high-end portable PC for work or gaming? Let’s discuss below!
