Path of Exile 2 Early Access Promises a Deep and Rewarding RPG Experience
After years of anticipation and a slight delay, Path of Exile 2 is finally launching in Early Access on December 6th, and it’s shaping up to be a treat for action RPG fans. Grinding Gear Games (GGG) is delivering a robust experience from the get-go, featuring an extensive campaign, customizable characters, and even endgame content—something rarely seen in Early Access releases.
What’s New in Path of Exile 2 Early Access?
1. Campaign and Cruel Mode: The Early Access version includes the first three acts of the six-act campaign, allowing players to reach level 25. For those seeking an extra challenge, Cruel Mode offers a higher difficulty, enabling progression to level 65 and preparing players for the endgame. Cruel Mode will be removed once the full version launches.
2. Endgame Content Right From the Start: Players won’t be left hanging after completing the campaign. The Atlas overworld map offers new areas to explore, alongside returning mechanics like:
Breaches: Defeat enemies quickly to maximize rewards.
Rituals: Survive waves of enemies for valuable loot.
3. Six Starting Classes: Choose from Warrior, Ranger, Monk, Mercenary, Witch, and Sorceress. Each class offers unique playstyles, from melee combat to magical warfare, with skills untethered from specific classes for maximum build flexibility. Six additional classes will be added later, doubling the variety.
